The Downtown Fall Ball has become a tradition for the Olympia Downtown Association. Starting in 2001 the ODA began hosting the Ball to help fund many of the events and projects that the Association supports.
Fall Ball funding helps support city partnerships that protect downtown interests, safety downtown in coordination with Olympia Police Department, Music in the Park Summer Concert Series, City of Olympia Arts Walk participation, The Olympian Pet Parade participation, Downtown for the Holidays and holiday lights.
The date for the Fall Ball in 2014 is Saturday, September 20, from 6 pm to 11 pm at The Olympia Center. The Olympia Center in downtown will be transformed as we begin the evening with a champagne reception and the fabulous silent auction. Enjoy silent and live auctions to include themed experiences and one-of-a-kind items, a signature cocktail and a fall inspired Northwest gourmet dinner. Choose a dessert for your table during Dessert Mania, then dance to the sounds of the LOTT Troubadours! Tickets are $100. If you are interested in attending, please contact the ODA office at (360) 357-8948 or email@example.com.
The planning for this event begins each March with a goal to have committee members in place and assignments given out by mid-July. There are many areas that need team leaders and volunteers to help continue the success of this stellar event.
If you would like to volunteer for this committee or event, please click email firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll add your name to our great volunteer list. You may also use that email address for more information. Thank you.
